Why I Want to Serve as Your District Judge
I am running for District Judge because I believe the law must be applied fairly, efficiently, and without bias. For more than 34 years, I have practiced law, tried cases, and seen firsthand how judicial decisions affect families, businesses, victims, and the accused.
With eight years of judicial experience, I understand the importance of preparation, efficiency, and judicial temperament. I will follow the law as written, respect precedent, and ensure every person who enters the courtroom is treated with dignity and fairness.
My goal is simple: to provide a court guided by the Constitution, the rule of law, and common sense—so the people of this county can have confidence in their judiciary.
My Priorities in the Courtroom
My top priority is to uphold the law and the Constitution faithfully and without bias. My decisions will be based on the law as written and the facts presented—not personal beliefs, politics, or outside influence.
I am committed to fairness and equal treatment, ensuring every person is heard and treated with dignity and respect. I also believe efficiency matters—cases should move promptly while fully protecting due process.
Accountability and judicial temperament are essential to public trust. I will set clear expectations, apply the law consistently, and run a professional, well-managed courtroom guided by integrity and respect.
My Plan for the 240th District Court
My plan for the 240th District Court is to bring experience, efficiency, and integrity to the bench while applying the law fairly and consistently.
With more than 34 years of trial experience and eight years of judicial service, I understand the importance of strong case management in a busy court. I will move cases forward promptly, reduce unnecessary delays, and ensure litigants, attorneys, and jurors are treated with professionalism and respect.
I will run a prepared, disciplined, and well-organized courtroom—issuing clear rulings, enforcing deadlines, and protecting due process. My decisions will be guided by the Constitution, Texas law, and binding precedent, with the goal of maintaining public trust in the 240th District Court.
